Virat Kohli is quite easily the best batter in the world of cricket in the current generation. He has pulled India out of several pickles and his list of records go on and on. Virat Kohli got into a bit of a slump a few years ago and did not score any century for over three years. Virat Kohli finally broke his slump when he scored a century against Afghanistan getting back to his old self. It was an emotional moment for both fans and Virat Kohli himself as he got overwhelmed with a series of emotions. 

Virat Kohli Gives Hilarious Reaction To Breaking Century Drought 

Virat Kohli when talking about ending his century drought gave a hilarious reaction at first before opening up on the emotional aspects of getting to the milestone.

“But the moment I got there, I laughed so hard. Iske liye ro raha tha do saal se,” stated Virat Kohli meaning that he was perplexed that he was crying for this for the past two years. 

Following this Virat Kohli spoke about the emotional aspects and how he got emotional speaking to his wife Anushka Sharma. 

Virat Kohli Was In Tears When Speaking To Anushka Following Century Drought 

“When I spoke to Anushka, I was in tears.”

“I know there was a lot of stuff going outside… You see me standing here because one person has put things in perspective for me. That’s Anushka. This hundred is for her and for our little daughter Vamika as well. When you have someone next to you having conversations putting things in perspective, like Anushka has been…,” stated Virat Kohli as he dedicated his century against Afghanistan to his wife Anushka Sharma and his daughter Vamika.
