‘Not At All’: Gautam Gambhir Shrugs Off Concerns Over Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli’s Form Before BGT

Team India is all set to travel to Australia for the much anticipated five Test match series, the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Ahead of the travel, Indian Cricket Team head coach addressed the media in his pre-departure press conference. 

Going into the Border Gavaskar Trophy, stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have received major criticism for their poor performances in Tests recently. But in his press conference, Gautam Gambhir has shrugged off any concern over Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s form. 

Gautam Gambhir backs Rohit-Kohli

Addressing the media in Mumbai on November 11th, Gautam Gambhir faced the tough question over Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s form. The head coach was asked whether Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s form was concerning. To which Gambhir simply replied, “Not at All”. 

He further backed Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to bounce back in the Border Gavaskar Trophy saying, 

“I think they are incredibly tough men who have achieved a lot for Indian Cricket and they will continue to perform for Indian Cricket. The most important thing for me is there hunger to continue to perform for the Indian Cricket Team”, Gautam Gambhir said in his press conference.
