Hyderabad Shocker: Man Shoots Girlfriend’s Father For Sending Her To US

New Delhi: A 25-year-old man allegedly shot her girlfriend’s father for sending her to the US to “break their relationship.”

The accused has been identified as Balwinder who was a classmate and in a relationship with Anand’s daughter.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when Balwinder went to Anand’s apartment to confront him. As per reports citing police, Balwinder fired one round with an airgun causing injury to his right eye.

Furthermore, CCTV footage of the incident shows Blawinder entering the building complex with an air gun in his hand. After this, Balwinfder fled the scene after firing at the man, which resulted in the shattering of his car’s windshield.

Later, the police were able to and Balwinder who has been charged under Section 109 (attempt to murder) and others of BNS and relevant provisions of the Arms Act was registered against him at Saroornagar police station, news agency PTI quoted a police official as saying.

Meanwhile, Anand was rushed to hospital for treatment and a further investigation into the matter is underway.
