While Arshdeep Singh is thought of as a pure bowler, he has demonstrated to be capable of more than just that. The slog sweep attempts during the T20I series against Bangladesh garnered a lot of attention. He also looked comfortable with the bat as the ball went past the ropes after he pulled off a huge shot and went for a soaring maximum. The pacer said that he is keen to challenge and improve himself in all three aspects of the sport.

“As long as the wicket is flat and the bowlers are medium pace, I love it. But yes, I am trying my best to contribute with the bat as well whenever I get a chance, and even in the nets as well, I try to challenge myself and improve in all three aspects of the game. It has always been the idea,” India pacer Arshdeep Singh added.
