Sanju Samson , who started the T20I series against South Africa on a high, has suffered a sudden plummet. Samson departed on a duck in the 3rd India vs South Africa T20I, his second consecutive zero in the series. The consecutive dismissals on no score come after back-to-back hundreds. Samson was the first Indian to score consecutive centuries, he has now become the first Indian to get out on five ducks in a calendar year in T20Is.

Sanju Samson Leaves Fans Disappointed

The pendulum has once again swung against Sanju Samson. Following a long spell of inconsistent run, the batsman had found some solidarity at the international dais when he scored two centuries in as many matches, but the ecstasy did not last long. Samson departed on a duck the other day in the 2nd T20I against South Africa, played at the St. George’s Oval, and two days later in the 3rd T20I, he got dismissed at a similar mark, in a similar fashion, to the same bowler (Marco Jansen).

Witnessing Samson losing momentum, many fans reacted to his dismissal on social media. As the enormous centuries have turned into paltry ducks, the praise has also changed into criticism. Here are a few of the many reactions amplified on the social media platform X.

So, yet another frustrating day for Sanju Samson. He would now look to make the most of the opportunity left in the form of 4th T20I.
