Balangir: A shocking incident occurred at Palli Vikas Panchayat High School in Balangir district’s Kantabanji area on Children’s Day. A teacher, teaching at the school for over 23 years, on Thursday, suddenly collapsed and died while singing at the event. The incident left all the students, teachers and staff members in a deep shock.

Initially, students thought the teacher had fainted due to exhaustion. However, when he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead. A viral video recorded by a student captured the teacher singing and celebrating with the children moments before the incident. The video captured the joy and excitement of the students, which quickly turned to shock and sadness as the teacher collapsed.

Following the incident, other teachers and students present at the event rushed the teacher to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. The exact cause of death has not been established, but a heart attack is suspected. According to the police, the body has been sent for post-mortem and the report is being awaited, which will determine the exact cause of death.
