Mumbai: The Congress party is jealous of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and indulges in religious politics, said Maharashtra incumbent chief minister Eknath Shinde . Speaking exclusively to Republic TV during an election rally with Shiv Sena candidate Shaina NC, Eknath Shinde said that they are contesting polls on the agenda of development.
“Congress is jealous of PM Modi, indulges in politics of religion and its only agenda is corruption,” said Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde.
Congress party is only and only interested in corruption and advocates for Pakistan agenda and how can we trust anyone who are speaking for Pakistan, Eknath Shinde said.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister further added that the BJP government has done so much work in the last 10 years which Congress couldn’t do in several decades.
Maharashtra elections will take place on Wednesday – November 20 – on all the 288 Assembly seats. The counting of votes is scheduled for November 23 along with Jharkhand .
Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena is part of Mahayuti alliance comprising BJP and Ajit Pawar ‘s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). The alliance is contesting the upcoming elections against MVA – Maha Vikas Aghadi – comprising Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Congress and Sharad Pawar ‘s NCP.
