Maharashtra Exit Poll Results 2024: Who Will Win The Marathwada Region?

Maharashtra Exit Poll 2024: As the Maharashtra Assembly election heats up, Exit Polls provide a preview of what’s to come. Both MATRIZE and P-MARQ polls predict a tight contest between the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), with the former slightly more likely to win.

Let’s see what the exit polls predict for 46 seats assembly of the Marathwada region.

P-MARQ Exit Poll: MVA Predicted for a Victory in Marathwada

According to the P-MARQ exit poll, the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition, which constitutes Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) is set to lead in the Marathwada region. 

The MVA coalition is predicted to secure between 22 to 30 seats, and strike a win in the region.

Whereas, the Mahayuti alliance, which includes the BJP, is projected to get between 14 to 22 seats.

Independent (others) candidates, according to P-MARQ, may secure just 0 to 2 seat.

MATRIZE Exit Poll: A Close Fight Between Mahayuti and MVA

The MATRIZE exit poll, predicts a very close contestation between the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and the Mahayuti.

The MVA coalition is predicted to secure between 20 to 26 seats, with a vote share of 47%.

Whereas, the Mahayuti is projected to secure from 19 to 24 seats, having a vote share of 44% in the region.

Independent candidates, may sure between 0 to 3 seats, vote share 9%.

Seat Predictions for Marathwada under MATRIZE

– BJP: 11-13 seats (27% vote share)

– Shiv Sena (UBT): 6-8 seats (16% vote share)

– Shiv Sena: 5-7 seats (12% vote share)

– Congress: 7-9 seats (18% vote share)

– NCP (SP): 5-9 seat (13% vote share)

– NCP: 1-4 seats (5% vote share)

In the Mahayuti alliance, the BJP is contesting 148 seats, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena 80, and Ajit Pawar’s NCP 53. Five seats are allocated to other allies, with two seats undecided.

In the MVA coalition, the Congress is contesting 103 seats, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena 89, and Sharad Pawar’s NCP 87. Six seats are allocated to other allies, with three assembly segments undecided.

The Maharashtra election results will be declared on November 23.
