In a stunning revelation, signed bats of Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli are being sold for a staggering INR 1.65 lakh (2985 AUD) at the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre in Australia. This price tag is a testament to Kohli’s immense popularity in the country, which has reached new heights ahead of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. Every newspaper and magazine is full of Virat Kohli pictures to hype up the Test series and the latest to come out of it is Kohli-branded MRF bats on sale. 

Virat Kohli’s bat on sale in Australia 

The cricket bat, which is claimed to be the one that Virat Kohli uses, is being sold at a price that is considered very expensive in India. This highlights the craze surrounding Kohli in Australia, where he is widely regarded as a global icon and loved by millions. Kohli has an average of over 54 in red-ball cricket in Australia since he started touring the country.  

Australian podcaster and YouTuber Norman Kochanek discovered the signed bat during a visit to the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre ahead of the Perth Test. 

The hype surrounding Virat Kohli’s arrival in Australia has been immense, with local media outlets going all out to cover his every move. Mainstream news outlets have posted large pictures of Kohli on their front pages, hyping up the India-Australia rivalry.
