PM Modi Stresses ‘Democracy First, Humanity First’ Mantra at Special Session of Guyana Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the special session of the Parliament of Guyana, stressed the need to prioritise democracy in order to build an inclusive society, saying that there is no greater tool than democracy for building an inclusive society. PM Modi pressed for humanity’s first philosophy while drawing a directly proportional link with democracy, during his address saying that the strongest mantra for moving forward before the world is, ‘Democracy First, Humanity First’.
