Hyderabad Student Dies After Gun Misfires on Birthday in US

Hyderabad: In a tragic turn of events, a 23-year-old student from Hyderabad died in an accidental gun misfiring incident during his birthday celebrations in Atlanta, Georgia in the US.

The deceased student identified as Aryan Reddy was a resident of Uppal in Hyderabad. The tragic incident is said to have taken place on November 13.

The incident took place when he was celebrating his birthday with his friends. Aryan Reddy was a second year MS student at Kansas State University in Atlanta. His body is expected to reach Hyderabad on Friday.

According to media reports, his gun allegedly misfired while he was cleaning his newly bought hunting gun, piercing his chest and leaving him fatally wounded.

Upon hearing the sound of the gunshot, his friends rushed to his room only to found him lying in a pool of blood.

Reports suggest that they immediately took him to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Aryan’s family is originally from Bhuvanagiri and is currently residing in Dharmapuri Colony in Uppal.
