Before the start of the India vs New Zealand series, Rohit Sharma had said that the Indian pacer had swelling in his knees and was running a race against time to get fit before the start of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But it seems that all is not well with Shami’s injury. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), recently announced India’s squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but Shami was not included in it. After the squad announcement, Shami took to his Instagram account and shared a heartfelt post.

Team India’s Hopes Of Playing WTC Finals Dented

Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir ‘s Team India looked as clear favourites to play the WTC Final next year in Lord’s, but their dismal performance against New Zealand has dented their hopes.
