The Pakistan Cricket Team has recently secured an enormous win in the Test series against England after the hosts picked up a 2-1 series at the Rawalpindi Test. The Final Test was the deciding factor, and the hosts pulled off all the tactics they had in their arsenal to ensure two back-to-back wins against the Three Lions. Men in Green are undeniably jubilant after the series win, as it is a monumental accomplishment after being in a slump for a very long time. The Pakistani players and staff also brought out a celebratory pose, which was made prevalent by an Indian Cricket icon.

Pakistan Stars Hit The Shikhar Dhawan Celebration After Series Win vs England

After the Men In Green won the series 2-1 against England at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Pakistan, the players and coaching staff of the hosts’ side were seen celebrating the moment after Skipper Shan Masood hit a six to cap off the series with a win. The team players celebrated among themselves and with the fans in attendance at Rawalpindi.

In a video shared by the PCB on ‘X’ [Formerly Twitter], Pakistan’s bowling all-rounder Sajid Khan and the Test team’s head coach Jason Gillespie were seen doing a specific celebratory pose that was made prominent in the sport by Former Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan. The recently retired India cricketer often used the celebration after making big hits and reaching milestones. Coach Gillespie and Sajid Khan hit the signature Thapi Celebration after Pakistan’s 2-1 series win against England.

Speaking of the match, England looked in control after they scored 267 in the first innings. The hosts’ side retaliated strongly with the ball, and England heavily faltered in the last Test match in Rawalpindi. It allowed Pakistan to easily chase down the target by England and eventually secured a series win with a 2-1 lead to lift the title.
