FC Barcelona picked up a spectacular win over Real Madrid as they spoilt Kylian Mbappe ‘s first El Clasico after he arrived in Madrid, Spain. Robert Lewandowski scored a brace in the 54th and 56th minute to put the Catalans in the lead, with Lamine Yamal contributing with a third in the 77th minute. Rapinha also came in with a spectacular goal in the 84th minute as Los Blancos struggled on their home turf. Manager Hansi Flick was ecstatic with the result after the final whistle.

Manager Hansi Flick ‘Proud’ After FC Barcelona Wins La Liga’s El Clasico Fixture

While speaking after La Liga’s El Clasico fixture, FC Barcelona Manager Hansi Flick said that he was ecstatic after the team’s spectacular 4-0 win against Real Madrid on their home turf. The Barca manager said that they did a great job while pressing the ball and had more possession, which changed the game.

“I’m delighted to be working at Barcelona FC and to live in Barcelona. It’s a fantastic job, and I’m very happy… We played a fantastic game, and I am so proud. We pressed better with and without the ball. We had more possession, and that changed the game. The defensive effort was key.

“We have trained a lot on defending with a high line and on how we want to press the ball. It’s also important not to leave spaces when playing Real Madrid because they have incredible players. I think we are doing well. We are sticking to our ideas, and right now, we are fluid, and we want to keep moving forward,” Flick said.

At the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain, FC Barcelona has kept the lead in the La Liga Standings after securing ten wins and one loss from 11 games. They are currently leading the table with 30 points. Los Blancos are now at the number two spot in the table after securing seven wins, three draws and one loss off 11 matches.

Barca’s dominance continues to prosper under Hansi Flick’s leadership, and they could do wonders in the ongoing season. But Real Madrid’s dominant line-up will not sit back as they aim to clinch the season and become the table toppers yet again.
