Chennai Super Kings, one of IPL’s most successful franchises, has put out a post that suggests their potential retained players. The franchise took to ‘X’ [Formerly Twitter] and has formed a game to allow the fans to pick their preferred choice of retentions before the deadline day.

The tweet they posted featured a set of emojis, which are five in a row. The five rows may indicate that they intend to pick up five retentions, with the emojis adding a lot of intrigue as they have to figure out a pattern to get the names of the officially retained players. Certain emojis in the tweet feature a helicopter, a horse, the kiwi fruit, and many more. Some of the emojis could be synonymous with franchise stars like MS Dhoni , Ravindra Jadeja, Rachin Ravindra, and more. The post also featured a line, which said, “The Ones You Seek Is Seeking You.”

Some of the fans also tried to decipher the quiz, and they posted their choices on the social media platform. Most of them have picked former franchise skipper MS Dhoni to be retained, possibly as an uncapped player in the side. However, an eagle-eyed fan pointed out that the CSK had pulled a similar stunt back in 2021, and it could lead to something entirely different from the retention saga.
