New Delhi: India’s pharmaceutical sector has seen remarkable growth in the past few years and is expected to reach a market value of USD 65 billion by the end of 2024 and double to USD 130 billion by 2030. As the third-largest producer of pharmaceuticals globally, India is a key player in the global healthcare supply chain, earning its reputation as the “Pharmacy of the World.” To showcase the latest advancements in the pharmaceutical industry, the 17th edition of the CPHI & PMEC India trade show is set to take place from November 26th to 28th at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.

The event will serve as a comprehensive marketplace for pharmaceutical executives, buyers, hospital administrators, and government officials to explore cutting-edge solutions for drug manufacturing, distribution, and technology. Over three days, CPHI & PMEC India will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage in strategic networking, learn from industry experts, and discover innovative products that are shaping the future of the industry.

The event, which is being organized by Informa Markets in India, will showcase the latest advancements in the pharmaceutical industry, including machinery, technology, and ingredients, while focusing on sustainability and innovation. It also exemplifies the growth by connecting over 2,000 exhibitors and attracting global participation from countries like the USA, UAE, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and the UK.

This year’s expo will feature the Pharma Connect Congress, a two-day gathering focused on critical industry topics such as continuous innovation, agile manufacturing, biosimilars, and digital transformation. These discussions are designed to address some of the key challenges facing the sector, including the adoption of new technologies and the complexities of biosimilar manufacturing. Additionally, the Pharma Leaders Roundtable will bring together senior industry executives to discuss strategic pathways for addressing unmet clinical needs and driving future innovation.
