Mangaluru Horror: Hotelier Kills Wife, 4-Year-Old Son, Then Jumps Infront of Train

New Delhi: In a tragic incident, a man from Karnataka’s Manguluru killed his 28-year-old wife and four-year-old son before taking his own life, as per media reports.

The officials identified the man as Karthik Bhat, a hotelier from Pakshikere in Mangaluru who killed his wife Priyanka Bhat and son Hriday at their home and died by suicide later.

The incident came to light after locals discovered an unidentified body on the railway track in Bellairu.

During the search, the police found the keys to his scooter and home in Bhat’s pocket. The officials also tracked his house, and the documents showed that the property belonged to him.

According to officials, after they arrived at Bhat’s home, they first found it locked. After opening the door and checking rooms, they found Priyanka and Hriday lying in a pool of blood.

A senior official said that Bhat had left a note behind, however, did not give any details on it.

A man allegedly killed his wife and three children, including two teens, in the Bhelupur area here, police said on Tuesday.

Rajinder Gupta allegedly shot dead his wife Neetu Gupta (45), sons Navnendra Gupta (25) and Subendra Gupta (15), and daughter Gaurangi Gupta (16) at their house in the Bhaidani area Monday late night, they said.

The accused fled after committing the crime, they added.

The family’s tenants came to know of the incident on Tuesday afternoon and informed the police.

The police said they are trying to ascertain the motive behind the killings and a probe is underway. Forensic experts and senior police officials have arrived at the scene.
