‘Biggest Robbery’: Football World Left Divided As Vinicius Jr. Snubbed For Ballon D’Or 2024

The football world has been left divided after a shocking news that was announced yesterday that Vinicius Jr. from Real Madrid will not be winning the Ballon D’Or 2024 after being the favorite to win the award for several weeks. In an announcement right before the ceremony, it was revealed by journalist Fabrizio Romano that Vinicius Jr. will not be winning the Ballon D’Or 2024. In the end it was Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri who ended up winning the award from France Football. 

Fans Rally In Support Of Vinicius Jr. Following Ballon D’Or Snub 

Following Rodri’s win in the Ballon D’Or, football fans from around the world have taken to social media platforms to show their support for the Real Madrid winger. They termed Vinicius Jr. not winning the Ballon D’Or as a robbery and racial profiling.

Vinicius Jr. Comes Under Heavy Criticism Following Rodri’s Win

There was another segment of football fans that have sided with Rodri saying that Vinicius did not deserve to win the award. They have also lashed out over the fact none of the Real Madrid players attended the function saying that Vinicius did not portray sportsmanship.
