Cristiano Ronaldo Delivers a Powerful Message to Al-Nassr Ahead of Saudi Pro League Clash vs Kholood

With an outstanding record of 5 Ballon d’Or awards to his credit, Cristiano Ronaldo generally rules the debate on the best players of all time. Renowned as the world’s best top goal scorer, Ronaldo’s extraordinary abilities and successes confirm his status as a footballing superstar for decades. Turning 40 soon, he has shown no signs of stopping and has been a very top player for Al-Nassr. However, despite his world-class performances, his team lacks the strength to reach his standards.

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates Al-Nassr’s foundation day 

Celebrating the club’s foundation on October 24, 1955, Cristiano Ronaldo sent his birthday greetings to Al-Nassr.

In Middle Eastern football Al-Nassr has become a major player. Originally founded with the intention of increasing the popularity of the sport in Saudi Arabia, the club has since been very successful, earning several trophies and medals.

Al-Nassr saw a sea change when Cristiano Ronaldo signed in January 2023 because they started drawing elite European players. This action established a pattern among other Saudi Pro League teams, improving the league’s worldwide reputation.

Celebrating Al-Nassr’s 69 years, Ronaldo sent his sincere message on his X (previously Twitter) account, expressing his delight in helping the team in the journey so far.

Following a conflict with Manchester United’s management that resulted in the Red Devil contract being terminated, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023. He signed a two- and a-half-year contract with the team, covering until June 2025.

Ronaldo started Al-Nassr and soon rose to be the best-paid football player in history, earning an incredible €200 million yearly. 

Ronaldo had become the top goal scorer in the world at the conclusion of his first calendar year with the club, having scored 54 goals in 59 games for both Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team across all levels. With 35 goals in only 31 games in May 2024, he broke the all-time scoring record of the Saudi Pro League in a season.

Ronaldo has thus scored 67 goals and given 18 assists in 75 games for Al-Nassr across all levels so far.
