One of Pant’s such antics was on display during the 1st Day of the India vs New Zealand Test Match in Pune, when Rishabh offered some inputs to spinning all-rounder Washington Sundar while behind the wickets.

Rishabh Pant ‘s Advice To Washington Sundar Backfires! Stumper’s Stump Mic Chatter Goes Viral
During the 78th over of the India vs New Zealand Test Match in Pune, Washington Sundar is set to deliver a ball to NZ’s Ajaz Patel. Before he bowled the delivery, Rishabh Pant offered some suggestions to Sundar and told him to bowl a bit fuller delivery. At that instance, Team India was struggling to take wickets. “Washi aage daal sakte hai, you can bowl little fuller, thoda bahar daal sakta hai,” Pant said while passing inputs to Washington Sundar.
The off-spinning all-rounder did what Pant said him to do and bowled a full delivery. But Ajaz Patel struck the ball towards the right side of mid-on, which sailed towards the boundary line for a four. Rishabh Pant then responded in a hilarious manner as he was startled by Ajaz’s shot selection.The Stump mic recorded all opf the chatter. Pant said, “Yaar mereko kya pata issey Hindi aati hai.”

Washington Sundar went on to deliver one of his finest innings for Team India in Test Cricket as he took a fifer, which led to a seven-fer while giving out 59 runs. He began his dismissal spree by scalping the in-form Rachin Ravindra’s wicket, and he went on to secure seven wickets in the process.
Apart from Sundar, R Ashwin also delivered splendidly, as he took out three of New Zealand’s top-order batters to help India gain the initial breakthrough. The Blackcaps were bundled out for 259 runs in 79.1 overs.
