Despite taking an early lead, Odisha had to settle for a point after Nikolaos Karelis’s goal in the 23rd minute cancelled out Roy Krishna’s opener at the Mumbai Football Arena in the ISL 2024-25 on Sunday.

“When you are trying to win and you get just one point, it is not the best result,” Lobera remarked in the post-match press conference. “But you need to analyse the game. My feeling is that we gained one point more than we lost two”

He praised the Mumbai City FC team and the players’ efforts in dealing with a strong opponent “We played against a very good team. My feeling is (that) my players made an amazing effort”, Lobera, despite acknowledging his team’s desire for all three points, emphasized the positives. “Today, we got that one point, and for that, we must congratulate the players for their effort today,” he added.

Looking ahead, Odisha FC will be hoping to break this streak and secure the three points in their upcoming match against Northeast United FC.
