Rishabh Pant JOKINGLY Tries to Kick Sarfaraz Khan on His Face During Pune Test | WATCH

India vs New Zealand: Rishabh Pant is a character and he showed that once again during the Pune Test. During the opening day of the second Test match in Pune on Thursday, Pant seemed to be in a jovial mood. While the team assembled after Tea to take the field, they got into a semi-huddle where Pant attempted to kick Sarfaraz on his face. Pant’s legs could not reach Sarfaraz’s face. The incident shows the bromance and bonhomie that exists in the team set-up.

After this, India captain Rohit Sharma had a word with the entire team and discussed the plan before they went in for proceedings to begin. Here is the clip that has surfaced on social space and is going viral:

Both Pant and Sarfaraz played crucial knocks in the Bengaluru Test which India lost. They would be expected to do well in this Test match as well. 

Meanwhile, NZ have lost six wickets. Ravi Ashwin and Washington Sundar have been the pick of the bowlers up until now, the two have already picked up three wickets apiece. India has managed to pick up wickets at regular intervals and that has helped them not allow NZ to get out of their grasp. At the time of filing the copy, NZ are 230 for six. Glenn Philips and Mitchell Santner are in the middle.

Ashwin’s Magic

Meanwhile, Ashwin became the leading wicket-taker in World Test Championship history. Ashwin achieved this feat during the first day of the ongoing second Test at Pune between India-New Zealand. Before the match started, Ashwin needed one wicket to equal Lyon – instead – he got two wickets before lunch. India will look to pick up the rest of the wickets by the end of play today.
