Officially appointed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Jason Gillespie is the head coach of the Pakistan men’s cricket team for the forthcoming white-ball trip to Australia next month. This choice corresponds with the resignation of the previous coach Gary Kirsten, whose PCB approved their departure. Former Australian fast bowler and seasoned coach Gillespie offers a lot of knowledge and experience to the post however, a struggling Pakistan could be a tough challenge as they have failed quite badly in the past ICC events. His arrival comes at a pivotal stage because the team is getting ready for demanding games against a strong Australian side.
