India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja has been a serial match-winner for CSK over the years, but now, there are reports that he is not a sureshot retention. Up until now, one thought he would surely make it but a report on RevSports claims otherwise and that is surprising for fans and plaudits. Jadeja has been part of the franchise since 2012 and has tasted success many times.

Jadeja And CSK – A Love Story Better Than Twilight

When Jadeja was picked up by CSK in 2012, he became the most expensive player in that year’s auction process. He had played for Gujarat Lions in 2016 and 2017 when the franchise was suspended. He was then added to the side once the suspension was lifted. Jadeja also led the CSK side in 2022, but stepped down as the leader midway through the season.

Why is Jadeja Indispensible?

The gun all-rounder has amassed 2053 runs in the cash-rich league apart from picking up 142 wickets. Recently, he retired from T20Is after India won the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Jadeja is a modern-day cricketer who plays all formats and excels in it. He is an asset for any team or franchise he plays for. Apart from being a contributor with the bat and the ball, Jadeja is also arguably the best fielder in the world. It is hard to believe what must have prompted CSK to think this way, but again, fans would be hoping all these reports are nothing but mere rumours.
