Purnia: In a shocking incident reported from Bihar ‘s Purnia district, a man tricked his minor girlfriend to leave her home and come to him, on the promise of marriage; he then took her to a red light area where he forced her to become a prostitute.

It all started with a ‘wrong number call’ which was turned into a full-fledged love story between a man and a minor girl who was tricked into believing that her boyfriend would marry him. The two spoke on a ‘wrong number call’ for the first time two years ago and during conversations, the man, Neeraj Kumar took her address and they also met quite a few times.

Man Takes Minor Girlfriend to Red Light Area, Forces Her to Become Prostitute

The man promised to marry her and called her to Zero Mile in Purnia from Katihar, to ‘meet his mother and family’ for marriage. The boyfriend then took her to his ‘house’ which was actually a red light area; she was made to enter a room where two men were already present. The boyfriend then pushed her into the room and locked the room from outside.

Since then, for the next three months, she was forced into prostitution and according to her, every day, she was sent to five to seven ‘customers’ and when she refused to go, her hands and legs would be tied and she would be thrashed.

Both the so-called lover and his mother forced the 17-year-old victim into prostitution. The victim had lost both her parents in an accident when she was a child after which she had been living with her maternal aunt.

Victim Ran Away After Being Forced into Prostitution for 3 Months

After being forced to be a prostitute for three months by her lover and his mother, the victim on Friday, somehow managed to escape the red light area while the others were sleeping. The girl lodged a complaint but at the same time, she is also trying to stay safe as the lover and his mother are looking for her.

Minor Girl Makes Shocking Claims

In her complaint, the minor has made some shocking claims about the accused and his mother. According to her, she is not the first person to fall prey to this horror. The accused has trapped three other women before her, in the same manner, promising them marriage. His mother, Mintu Devi runs this prostitution racket.
