BJP Leader ‘Slaps, Abuses’ Policeman After Minor Dispute In Shravasti, Video Goes Viral

Shravasti (UP): A shocking video coming from Uttar Pradesh’s Shravasti that captures and claims a BJP leader is brutally beating a policeman and abusing them.

The altercation, which reportedly took place in a public area on Friday night, has sparked outrage on social media, with many questioning the growing influence of political figures in law enforcement matters.

According to eyewitnesses and initial reports, the BJP leader, whose identity has not been revealed, was involved in a heated argument with the policeman. The altercation escalated quickly, with the BJP leader physically assaulting the officer. The situation took a further turn for the worse when the leader allegedly used offensive language.

A video bite was given by Area Officer Bhinga Shri Santosh Kumar regarding the incident of abuse and assault on a policeman at Idgah Tiraha under Police Station Kotwali Bhinga area on 08.11.2024.

Police are investigating the matter, and the culprit has been sent behind bars.
