BJP Leader Vinod Tawde Gheraoed Amid ‘Cash for Votes’ Charge A Day Before Maharashtra Polls

Virar: Chaos unfolded in Virar in Palghar district of Maharashtra after BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde was gheraoed by rival Bahujan Vikas Aghadi gheraod who accused the BJP leader of distributing cash in exchange of votes.

The high-voltage drama took place just a day before Maharashtra goes to polls.

The video of the ruckus between the BJP and BVA workers has emerged wherein the BJP leader Tawde can be seen surrounded by a crowd. The incident also prompted police intervention who were seen pacifying the crowd.
