New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft on Friday suffered a technical snag due to which the aircraft had to remain at Deoghar airport causing some delay in his return to Delhi. Officials are yet to disclose the cause of the technical glitch in the aircraft.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held two rallies in Jharkhand today to honour the anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda, ahead of the second phase of the Assembly elections on November 20.

During his rallies, PM Modi came down heavily on both the Congress and Rahul Gandhi . He repeated his “shehzada” (prince) jibe, accusing Gandhi of conspiring to abolish reservations for SC, ST, and OBC communities in an effort to weaken their rights.

“The Congress has dangerous designs. The Congress’ ‘shehzada‘ is conspiring to end reservations for these communities. His father had once referred to the reservation as slavery and bonded labor, but he was later defeated in elections. His father even published advertisements calling for the removal of reservations, but we will foil any such conspiracy,” Modi declared.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister accused the ruling JMM, which has an alliance with the Congress, of aiding “infiltrators” in becoming permanent residents of Jharkhand—a claim echoed by several BJP leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah .

In a separate incident, in Godda, Jharkhand, located just 80 km from Deoghar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s helicopter was delayed for 45 minutes as it awaited clearance from air traffic control. The Congress party claimed that this delay was intentional, designed to disrupt Gandhi’s campaign itinerary.
