California: Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been taken into police custody in California, US, as per sources.

However, the Mumbai and Delhi police have not yet issued any official statement on the matter.

According to sources from intelligence agencies, a non-bailable warrant was issued against Anmol Bishnoi two weeks ago, and he has now been taken into custody.

Who is Anmol Bishnoi?

Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has gained widespread attention after being placed on the National Investigation Agency’s most-wanted list, with a ₹10 lakh reward offered for his arrest. 

He has been linked to several high-profile cases, including the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala, the shooting outside actor Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra in April, and the recent killing of politician Baba Siddique.

Chargesheets were filed against Anmol Bishnoi, a resident of Fazilka, Punjab , in two cases registered by the NIA in 2022. He fled India using a fake passport last year and was believed to be in Canada.
