Gujarat Tragedy: Driver’s Bid to Save Biker Fails, Crashes Car Into Tree, Two Killed in Dahod

Dahod: In a tragic road accident, two persons were killed and four were left injured in a car accident near Devdha village in Gujarat’s Dahod district, an official statement said.

The deceased have been identified as Rakesh Minama and Bhavsinh Parmar who were declared dead on the spot.

According to police, all occupants remained trapped at the time of the incident. 

Crashed Car Into Tree To Save Biker Who Came In Front of Him

“The car is thought to have lost control as the driver swerved to avoid colliding with a motorcycle, ultimately crashing into a tree along the highway,” an official said.

Meanwhile, in a similar incident, three men were killed after their speeding car hit a tree on a state highway in Bharuch district, police said on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Mitesh Chavda (20) and Chetan Bhatti (26) and Mahavir Agrawat,  all residents of Bhavnagar.

All Three Were on Their Way To Surat

According to police, all three victims were on their way to Surat via Ankleshwar-Hansot-Surat state highway.

“After reaching Ankleshwar, they took the Hansot-Surat highway towards Surat. Suddenly, the vehicle swerved off the road, lost control, and crashed into a tree,” police said.
