Is Electoral Battle in Thane-Konkan Region a Clear Contest For Mahayuti?

Thane: The Thane-Konkan region witnessed an intense political battle, with various parties including the ruling Mahayuti and the Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the fray. However, the Exit Polls have indicated that the electoral battle in the Thane-Konkan region was a clear contest for the BJP, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led NCP’s Mahayuti alliance. According to exit poll predictions by PMARQ, the Mahayuti alliance is expected to secure 21-29 seats, while the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is predicted to get 10-18 seats. Others may bag 0-2 seats in the region.

Meanwhile, Matrize Exit Poll Predictions has given a more detailed breakdown of the expected seats and vote share. According to Matrize Exit Poll, the Mahayuti alliance is expected to secure 23-28 seats with a 56% vote share, while MVA is predicted to get 6-13 seats with a 33% vote share. Others may get 2-4 seats with an 11% vote share.

Party-Wise Vote Share

The exit poll predictions by Matrize in terms of individual parties, the Congress is expected to get a mere 3% vote share, while BJP is predicted to secure 26% vote share. The Shiv Sena (UBT) and Shiv Sena are expected to get 23% and 26% vote share respectively, while the NCP (SP) and NCP are predicted to get 7% and 4% vote share respectively. Others may get an 11% vote share in the assembly election.

Party-Wise Seat Predictions

In terms of seats, Congress is expected to get 0-1 seats, BJP is predicted to secure 10-12 seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) may get 3-5 seats, and Shiv Sena is expected to secure 11-13 seats. The NCP (SP) may get 1-5 seats, the NCP may get 0-3 seats, the Samajwadi Party (SP) may get 0-1 seats, BVA may get 2-3 seats, and CPIM may get 0-1 seats.
