Udupi: A hit-and-run case has been reported in Karnataka’s Udupi where a Congress leader’s son crushed a biker to death with his speeding car; the car driver was absconding but has now been arrested. The horrific Karnataka hit-and-run has been caught on CCTV.

Udupi Hit-And-Run: Congress Leader’s Son Crushes Biker with Speeding Car

A hit-and-run case has been reported in Karnataka’s Udupi where a biker was crushed to death by a speeding car in the wee hours. The prime accused in this hit-and-run case is Prajwal Shetty, son of Congress leader Belapu Deviprasad Shetty. The incident occurred in Belapu’s military colony, Kaup taluk of the Udupi district.

The Congress leader’s son was absconding since the hit-and-run but he has now been arrested by the Shirva Police. The 39-year-old biker lost his life because of Shetty’s negligence while driving.

Karnataka Hit-And-Run Caught on CCTV | Video

The horrific hit-and-run case has been caught on the CCTV camera installed on the road in the military colony. The incident took place at around 5:00 am on November 11.

It can be clearly seen in the video that a biker was driving past when a car zoomed in the bike’s direction from the opposite side and mauled the biker before fleeing the scene. The horrific accident’s video has surfaced online.

An investigation and questioning is underway; the police is yet to decipher whether the prime accused in this case was driving under the influence of alcohol and what was the negligence on his part.
