Traffic Advisory Issued For CM Yogi’s Road Show in Ghaziabad- Check Roads Closed, Diversions

New Delhi: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath is set to visit the Vijay Nagar area on Saturday to lead a roadshow in support of BJP candidate Sanjeev Sharma for the upcoming by-election.

 Due to CM’s event traffic restrictions will be implemented across several routes and the police have issued a detailed diversion plan due to restrictions. Meanwhile, parking arrangements for attendees have been made at 11 designated locations.

ADCP Traffic Piyush Kumar Singh stated that traffic will be regulated as per the diversion plan from 12 noon to late evening on Saturday. Security preparations for the roadshow have been heightened, with barricades set up along the route from Utsav Bhawan to Vijay Nagar police station. Traffic disruptions are expected on this stretch both today and tomorrow.

Key Traffic Diversions:

  • Mohan Nagar to Meerut Tiraha: Closed. Vehicles will be rerouted from Mohan Nagar via Vasundhara to Dabur, then to UP Gate and NH-9.
  • Rajnagar Extension Intersection: No movement towards Meerut Tiraha and Rajnagar Extension. Vehicles should proceed from Hapur Chungi to Atmaram Steel on NH-9.Loha Mandi’s Sajan Mor to Chaudhary Mod: Heavy vehicles will be diverted via NH-9 from Lal Kuan.
  • Vijaynagar T-Point to Vijay Nagar: Restricted for all vehicles. Heavy vehicles will also be unable to proceed from Jal Nigam T-Point to Meerut Tiraha.

Diversion for Private Vehicles:

  • Chaudhary Mor to Utsav Bhawan via Railway Bridge: Closed. Vehicles can travel from Railway Bridge to Vijaynagar via Signal Factory and Vijaynagar Bypass.
  • Sain Chowk to Railway Station and DAV Chauraha Pratap Vihar: Restricted.
  • Medical Tiraha Pratap Vihar to Sain Chowk: No vehicle access.

Designated Parking Areas:

  • P-1: Railway Ground for light vehicles from Chaudhary Mor via Railway Bridge.
  • P-2 & P-3: Ramlila Ground and JKG International School for light vehicles from Labor Chowk.
  •  P-4: Bhima Bhai Park for vehicles from Gaushala Road/Thana Road.
  •  P-6, P-7, P-10, & P-11: Various locations, including New Rainbow School and DAV School, for vehicles coming from Jal Nigam T-Point via Santosh Medical College.
  •  P-8 & P-9: Holkar Park and Madrasa Noorani Ground for vehicles from Siddharth Vihar.
  • P-5: Army Ground for buses, accessed via Siddharth Vihar-DPS Lal Batti and Bhagirath Chowk.
