As the Border-Gavaskar series is all set to begin today, Indian captain Rohit Sharma is all set to miss the first test which gives the responsibility to fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah who will be leading India in the first test. It will be a battle of fast bowling captains in the first test in Perth as Australian captain Pat Cummins is a fast bowler too. India have won every Border-Gavaskar series even since India’s last defeat to Australia in the 2014-15 Border-Gavaskar series. 

India under captain Jasprit Bumrah will be looking to continue their winning streak in the series and at the same time improve their chances of qualifying for the World Test Championship final. 

‘150 Daala Hai Maine’: Bumrah’s Hilarious Reaction To Being Called A Medium-Pacer 

Ahead of the first test match of the Border-Gavaskar series, Jasprit Bumrah during a press conference was called a medium-fast pacer by a member of the press. To being called a medium-fast bowler,Jasprit Bumrah gave a hilarious reaction as he stated that he has bowled speeds of 150.

A reporter in the press conference asked Jasprit Bumrah, “How does it feel to captain India as a medium-pace all-rounder?”

“Medium pace yaar? 150 daala hai maine, fast bowler bol skte ho. But mai yeh keh raha hu ke, mai as a fast bowling captain nhi dekhta apne aap ko, mai Indian players hu and mera job hai India ke liye best dena and Indian cricket ko aage lejana, mai us expect se cricket ko dekhta hu,” said Bumrah.
