Most people agree Sachin Tendulkar is among the best cricketers in history. Over two decades, he had an outstanding career accumulating several records and honours. Tendulkar delighted audiences all across with his perfect technique, exquisite strokeplay, and unrivalled consistency. Often referred to as the “Little Master,” or the “Master Blaster,” he controlled opponent across all forms of play. On and off the pitch, Tendulkar’s modesty, sportsmanship, and commitment to the game have won him respect and thus cemented his legendary reputation in cricket history.

Sachin Tendulkar will flag off the Spice Coast Marathon 

The legendary Sachin Tendulkar will flag off the Spice Coast Marathon on Sunday, with over 8000 runners set to participate in the annual event.

Competition will be spread across three categories — full marathon (42.2 km), half-marathon (21.1 km) and Fun Run (5 km).

The full marathon has received over 600 entries.

Held yearly in Kochi, Kerala , the Spice Coast Marathon is a premier distance running event highlighting the rich cultural legacy and scenic splendour of the area. Runners from all around come to take part in this amazing marathon with many race divisions to suit different ability levels. Apart from encouraging health and agility, the event provides a forum to spread awareness of Kerala’s rich spice trade history and breathtaking coastlines. Attracting both elite competitors and leisure runners equally, the Spice Coast Marathon presents an exciting and memorable running experience with great audience support and a festive environment.
