Real Madrid icon Toni Kroos recently made a bold claim regarding the Ballon D’Or 2024 awards. As the Ballon D’Or approached, it was thought that Real Madrid and Brazil winger Vinicius Jr. will be the winner and that has been the case for the past few weeks. Only a few hours before the ceremony in Paris, France, reports started coming out that instead of Vinicius Jr it will be Rodri who will be winning the Ballon D’Or. As these reports started coming out, former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos came out with a bold statement. 

Toni Kroos Makes Bold Claim Regarding Rodri And Ballon D’Or 

Toni Kroos came out with a statement stating that he knows that Rodri will be winning the Ballon D’Or instead of his former teammate Vinicius Jr. He further stated that the Ballon D’Or awards that are given by France Football every year have lost their credibility.

Toni Kroos stated,“Rodri will win the Ballon d’Or. I’ve never seen the importance of these individual awards in football, they have no place”.

Apart from Toni Kroos, several other superstars that are or were associated with Real Madrid have come out to show solidarity with Vinicius Jr.
