Luka Doncic SILENCES Minnesota Timberwolves Once Again, Scores Clutch Logo Three To Hand Mavs Win

The Minnesota Timberwolves wounds of Luka Doncic scoring a game winning three pointer for Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals last season hadn’t fully healed, when the Slovenian superstar arrived in Target Center once again and repeated what he did back in May. 

Dallas Mavericks held on to a 120-114 win over Minnesota Timberwolves on the road led by Kyrie Irving’s magnificent 35 point game including 16 points in the third quarter to rally the Mavericks to their third win of the season. While, Kyrie was the star of the show it was Luka Doncic who stole all the headlines when he sealed the deal with a logo step back three to win the game for his side. 

Luka Doncic silences Minnesota 

The Minnesota Timberwolves came out firing against Dallas Mavericks in the first quarter of the game led by Anthony Edwards’ 24 point quarter, as Wolves led by 8 points. But, as the game progressed the Mavericks grew into the contest and by mid 4th quarter they had a 10 point lead. 

However, the Timberwolves were forging a fightback. They cut it down to a single possession game, before Kyrie Irving scored to make it a 5 point game. The Mavericks got a stop and went Luka Doncic grabbed the ball in hand near the logo. Doncic stepped back and fired a three from the logo. 

As soon as the ball went into the net, the Timberwolves fans were stunned and Doncic shouted to the fans, “That’s what I f***ing do” . The Mavericks inched ahead to an 8 point lead with a minute to go and from there on managed the final minute to clinch a 120-114 win.

As soon as Luka Doncic dagger struck the hearts of Timberwolves once again, the NBA fans took to social media to share their awe of the Mavericks superstar.

With this victory the Dallas Mavericks have improved their record to 3-1 after first 4 games. Their next test will be against the Houston Rockets on Halloween night this Thursday in Dallas.
