Australia are all set to host India in a highly anticipated 5-Match Test series, the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The first Test of the series is all set to start from 22nd November till 26th November at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

Ahead of the first Test at Perth, the Rohit Sharma led Indian Cricket side has been given a spine chilling warning as star Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne stunned captain Pat Cummins with a fiery bouncer.

Australia and India will lock horns in the much awaited 5 Match Test series, with both teams stake in the World Test Championship on the line. Both teams are sweating it out in the nets at WACA, Perth as they gear up for what promises to be a high octane series.

Star Aussie batter, Marnus Labuschagne has consistently been pitching his case to be used more often with the ball in hand to the Australian team management. Labuschagne only just made his case stronger as he gave Aussie skipper Pat Cummins a taste of his own medicine with a fiery bouncer.

Given Marnus Labuschagne’s improvement as a bowler adds to Australia’s already strong bowling Arsenal and given Indian batters’ inability to provide a bowling outlet, India can be in a spot of bother heading into the first Test.

Australia aim to win back BGT

Australia hasn’t won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for a decade now.  The Kangaroos last win over India came back in 2014-15, and they have went on to lose four straight Test series since then.

But Pat Cummins and co enter into the series as favourites given India’s hammering series loss to New Zealand. The Aussies will certainly want to win back the coveted trophy back.
