As the election saga grips several parts of Jharkhand, former Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was seen arriving at a polling booth in the state capital Ranchi to cast his vote. Him and his wife, Sakshi, arrived at a booth today to cast their votes for the Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024. 

As the couple entered the polling booth, fans thronged to get a glimpse of him and MSD walked along with his wife. Security personnel held the fans behind as they walked into the booth to present their votes. 

Before the elections began, the for er Team India wicketkeeper-batter was appointed as Jharkhand’s brand ambassador for the elections. The Chief Electoral officer assured that they had MSD’s consent for using his photographs to raise awareness among the masses. Dhoni was brought in as a part of the Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation program, between known as the SWEEP program.
