‘No Confirmation’: Gautam Gambhir On Rohit Sharma’s Availability For 1st Test vs Australia

Team India is all set to travel to Australia for the five match Test series, the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Ahead of departing to Australia, Gautam Gambhir addressed the media in his press conference. 

Indian Cricket Team head coach Gautam Gambhir has revealed that there is no confirmation over whether Rohit Sharma will be available for the 1st Test vs Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. 

Rohit Sharma ‘s availability still uncertain 

Post Gautam Gambhir’s press conference, the second batch of Indian Cricket Team will be departing to Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. There are roughly 10 days to go till the 1st Test for India against Australia at the Optus Stadium in Perth. 

However, as head coach Gautam Gambhir confirmed it is still unclear whether Rohit Sharma will be available for India in the first Test or not.  

“There is no confirmation. We’ll let you know. Hopefully he’ll be available. Everything you’ll get to know by the start of the series,” said Gautam Gambhir in his press conference.
