Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja faced the ire for his comments on Babar Azam . Raja drew parallels of former West Indian great Viv Richards with Babar. As per Raja, Babar has the potential and now it is time he proves to the world he is Viv Richards. ” Babar Azam has so much potential that now he has to prove to the world with his temperament that he is Viv Richards”. Fans cannot believe how Raja could compare Babar to the yesteryears legend. Babar was recently axed as the captain of the Pakistan cricket team following their dismal show against England. Babar’s own form was questionable as he was not living upto his potential. Here is how Raja was trolled on social space.

“I feel Babar has to achieve a lot more in Test cricket. He plays the white-ball format really well, has an average of 50-plus in both the formats (T20I and ODI)…There is so much potential in Babar Azam,” Ramiz said on his YouTube channel.

“Ab unko apne temperament se batana hai duniya mei ke woh ek Viv Richards hain (now he has to prove to the world with his temperament that he is Viv Richards). Bigger the contest, bigger the innings Richards used to play,” Ramiz added.
