So the bowler fired in a delivery, it was a wide. The batsman stepped out and was eventually stumped. So of course, the field umpires went for a review, referred it to the TV umpire. My wife started, it is Not Out. The batsman had already started to walk while Sakshi was speaking. She said, you just see, they will call him back. A batsman can’t be stumped on a wide ball. So, I said, a stumping is possible on wide ball, but not on a no ball, to which she replied, you don’t know anything. Eventually, the batsman was declared out and then she says, you know, there is something wrong’, said Dhoni.

The IPL mega auctions and retentions are also much talked about this time around, due to the ‘Uncapped Player’ Rule. The rule also has a bit of twist in it. Any former international star, if he hasn’t played at the highest level and hasn’t represented his country for five straight years will fall under the category of an uncapped player. MS Dhoni last represented India in 2019 and hence, CSK might very well retain him as an uncapped player.
