Timothy Weah was once again the star of the show as Juventus defeated Torino 2-0 in the all-important Turin Derby. Juventus took the lead early against Torino as Timothy Weah opened up the scoring for the men in black and white in the 18th minute. It was towards the end of the match that Juventus doubled their lead as in the 84th minute, Kenan Yıldız scored the second goal of the match to put an end to the scoring and get Juventus the three points.

Timothy Weah’s first-half goal for Juventus in a 2-0 derby win over Torino on Saturday marked the United States international’s third goal in four Serie A matches.

Weah, who also scored recently against Inter Milan and Parma, was in the right spot to redirect in a rebound of a shot from Andrea Cambiaso.

Weah’s father, former Ballon d’Or winner George Weah, was watching from the stands. Timothy Weah had another potential goal waved off for a handball.

Kenan Yildiz sealed it for Juventus with a crouching header late in the second half.

Juventus moved up to third, level on points with second-placed Inter Milan, which hosts league leader Napoli on Sunday. 

Juventus will now play their next match on the 23rd of November as they face off against another giant of European and Italian football. Juventus will be travelling to the iconic San Siro stadium to take on AC Milan who are coming off a draw against Cagliari and are now in 7th place in the Serie A table.
