Mike Tyson is a legend and there is no doubt about that and hence it was heartwarming to see Jake Paul pay the ultimate respect to the legendary boxer. The the last minute of the fight, Paul stood calm at an arm’s distance from Tyson and bowed in front of him with folded hands. The crowd went ballistic on witnessing this gesture from the young boxer. That is when Tyson too walked up to him and hugged him and then they stood face-toface with their heads touching heads in a moment of respect.

Paul secured a unanimous decision victory over Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium, showcasing superior boxing skills with 78 punches landed in a historic match.

Paul proved his boxing ability throughout the eight-round fight, far outpacing Tyson with a total of 78 strikes to Tyson’s 18. Paul dominated the speed of the fight and landed 28% of his 278 thrown punches even if he was unable to get a knockout. The battle came to a unanimous decision win for Jake Paul. Additional noteworthy outcomes on the undercard were a split draw between Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos and Katie Taylor beating Amanda Serrano by unanimous decision. For Paul, this occasion was a turning point and enhanced Tyson’s boxing legend.

The match lived upto the billing as both players pushed each other. Tyson showed that he can still land a punch at the age of 58. Paul did not buckle under the pressure of taking on a living legend. It was a match to remember.
