The craze of Barcelona’s win against Real Madrid in the highly anticipated El Clasico match has now reached all the way to the Indian higher ups as PM Modi just mentioned the El Clasico while speaking in Vadodara, Gujarat . Barcelona stamped their authority on Real Madrid and their stadium Santiago Bernabeu with a massive 4-0 win on Saturday. After the win, Barcelona fans went crazy after the team defeated two of their biggest rivals Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in the same week. 

PM Modi Joins El Clasico Craze After Barcelona Beat Real Madrid 

While speaking at a roadshow in Gujarat’s Vadodara along with his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez. While speaking at the event, the Prime Minister of India spoke about the biggest sporting news in the world right now. PM Modi spoke about the craze of the El Clasico that is going around in India.

“Spanish football is liked a lot in India. Yesterday, the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona, and the discussions were held in India, too. Barcelona’s brilliant win was a subject of discussion here as well. I can also tell you that there was as much banter between the fans of the two clubs in India, as it would’ve been in Spain,” said the Prime Minister during his roadshow in Vadodara. 

How The El Clasico Played Out At The Santiago Bernabeu 

The match had a lot of happenings going around as FC Barcelona beat Real Madrid. Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe was caught offside 8 times in the match and was subjected to heavy online trolling. As for Barcelona, they owned the show with striker Robert Lewandowski scoring two goals in quick succession.
